I'm Married to Donald McCool we are from northern California but his Dad came from Indiana and we don't know who any of them are! His dad's name was Jerry Lee McCool. Oh and I hear "That's a cool name" ALL the time!

Interesting site! Great grandfather was Benjamin McCool born 1814; great-great granfather was Thomas McCool, settled in Warrick Co., Indiana. Benjamin had 8 children all born in Indiana: Mary Ann, James Yeldon (Civil War Vet.), Margaret Jane, Henry, Joseph, Miriah, Rachel and Rosetta (my grandmother).
