Been awhile since I've been to this site...just wanted to see how many MORE McCools have posted since the last time I was here! :-) Ain't we somethin'? ;) Repeating myself but our McCools came from N. Ireland pre-American Revolution. I believe we're all related, no matter how far removed, and very special (of COURSE we are!) Also..Finn McCool (Fionn Machumhail) was a REAL, historical person, 3rd c AD, that legends were built upon. Wouldn't it be grand to discover that we might even descend from him? My name is Joseph McCool,(Brother In heaven now)Thomas McCool,(Dad)James McCool,(Grand Dad)Mac McCool,as far as I know we are all from around the Smokey Mountains in North Carolina.Didn't know that there were so many McCools in the USA.I'm not that well educated,I'm disabled,and in a few mths.may be loosing the house.I'm trying to learn more about the computer,and get something to work at home,to save house..So if anyone could help me learn something to make extra money at home I would be very greatful..Any advise would be a great help,I've tried so many different things but haven't found the right one yet.

It pretty interesting how we all have the same last name and all that stuff. i dont know, i just think its interesting. I cant help but wonder if im like, related to any of you. highly doubtful but idk. haha.. ill keep coming back and reading. i really would like to know how we all got our last name as "mccool" though, and what it means. some one should help me out! =] thank you.

Hello to the Mc Cools! My husband and I were in IN, sorting through his mothers old items. We came across a letter to her from Harry Mc Cool from Kokomo. She also had an unsent letter to him. Dated 1942. I thought maybe it might be fun for him to see the letters as Valerie Sollors has passed away. If anyone is interested please let me know.

I hope that you can help me. When I was around 2-3 yrs old, (I'm 45 now). I had a Mrs. McCool babysit me. She and her husband owned a TV shop in Neosho (just north of the high school). Since I was so young, I don't remember many details. Wandering if anyone knows anyhing about my father, Charles Wayne Reding. He was married to Shirley and played guitar in the MAXX BROWN BAND.
