My McCool family is from Hanover PA (one generation), before that I don't know. It is nice to see so many from all over.

I have been trying to find my old 2nd-4th grade teacher, Mary McCool. She used to teach at Forest Rd. School in La Grange Park, IL. And your geanology is a cool site! But not quite helpful. I saw a picture that resembles her but they said she is a Florida Native. Maybe her names have been change? Who knows?

Isn't it wonderful to share such a unique last name with SO MANY wonderful people? I'd always thought there were only a few of us left - it's great to see there are lots of us all over the world. My family sailed from Ireland "only" a few years ago, say .... about 1725. They had a home in Toberhead in Ireland. They were Quakers, attended monthly meetings in Ballynacree...came through the usual channels...Delaware, Pennsylvania, SC, Alabama, Mississippi....though the lines have branched off many times. No wonder there are so many of us! Hello to all you McCool cousins across the big pond in Ireland, Scotland and the UK!!! Email me!

my mother's maiden name is McCool. my cousin traced our McCool's back to 1765 in Baltimore County, Maryland.

we are not sure if our McCool is Irish or Scottish as my cousin stopped the line when he couldn't go any further in the U.S.

lol jus did a google search on my name, saw this so i figured id post on it... have a cousin named shawn, and one named partick so jus wonderin if any of yall were them

I have been tracing back the family name but have some trouble. Most of my mccool family has passed away. About all I really know is my grandfather Alvin leroy McCool S.R of oklahoma and his brothers Charles McCool of Topeka Ks. and Arthur McCool of oklahoma. So if anyone has anymore information that may be helpful please let me know.

Our family line dies in Ontario Canada. Haven't had much luck tracing much more then that going back through Utah to Illinois and then Canada. Drop me a line if you have had much genealogy sucess

Don't know if you will remember playing volleyball and coed softball with me at the Navel Post Graduate School. Your youngest and my only use to run the gym together while we played. We even had a couple of play dates. You guys then moved to Virginia and we soon followed. Lost track of you when you left Anacortes. We now live in Bellingham, and would love to see you. I get to Anacortes about 4 times a year for Colin (my son) sporting events. I had tried to find you previously but was not able to locate anything about you in Texas prior. Would really like to hear from you, have photos of the volleyball team back then.
